Description
The black bean is a variety of common bean, particularly valued for its flavour. It is one of the staple foods in the diet of South and Central Americans. Today, black beans are grown all over the world and used in many different types of cuisine. It is excellent in dishes for vegetarians and vegans as an excellent alternative to meat. They can be added to one-pot dishes, tortillas, salads but can also be used to make soups, pates, vegetable cutlets and even cakes.
