'Parboiled' rice, is heat-treated before being packaged by heating it with steam under high pressure. Compared to ordinary white rice, this rice is slightly darker in colour, retains all its values and is easier to prepare. It does not need to be rinsed before cooking. The large, sealed pack is dedicated to the catering industry.
