What exactly are the private labels?
Private labels are currently a steady element of the retail food market which describes various products sold within one chain. They appeared in Poland in the second half of the 1990s together with the western commercial chains. In the course of years, the approach to private laves has changed. Today, they are products whose quality is not inferior to the products of renowned manufacturers, but their prices are competitive and they match precisely the well thought-out philosophy of companies. They provide a method of effective increase of one’s recognition among the competitors. Own Brand is now undergoing transformation from a Private Label into a Private Brand. These are products, which have their own architecture, a well thought-out design, as well as a number of quality differentiators which make them distinguishable from the competition.
What does Limpol’s role as an expert in this field consist in?
Creating a private label is a complex process marked by considerable responsibility. This is a key issue for a chain, its emblem, and often a business core. The very creation of a brand does not suffice. One also has to take care of the proper selection and matching of products. We understand this very well and as an importer of more than 140 food products from 31 countries from as many as 5 continents, we develop such proposals which quickly gain popularity among the consumers.
